Final Report Guidelines

Final Report Guidelines

The following are required elements that must be submitted as part of every final report. They should be included in this order:

  1. Cover Page (use MATS UTC cover page)
  2. Technical Documentation Page (Should reflect all portions of project/all collaboration)
  3. Optional: Executive Summary (if each university prepares separate reports; if the reports cover separate phases—should include descriptions of the separate reports and conclusions and how the pieces fit together)

Then each sub-report should have the following elements:

— Optional: Cover page for the sub-report including researchers and university and perhaps different sub-project name
— Acknowledgments (may be combined on the same page with disclaimer)
— Disclaimer

This document is disseminated under the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s University Transportation Centers Program, in the interest of information exchange. The U.S. Government assumes no liability for the contents or use thereof.”

— Body of report
——Complete documentation of all data gathered, analyses performed, and results achieved
— Reference list
— Appendices (as needed)
