Pamela Kordenbrock presenting

FHWA Tennessee Division Administrator Pamela Kordenbrock presented a MATS UTC Careers in Transportation webinar on March 24 from 12:30-1:30pm ET.  Ms. Kordenbrock told us a bit about how her roles and responsibilities have changed as she has grown as a federal employee in transportation, initially working as an Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Engineer and now leading all FHWA staff in Tennessee.

Pamela Kordenbrock has been the Division Administrator in Tennessee for the Federal Highway Administration of US Department of Transportation for the past five years.  Prior to this role, she was Assistant Division Administrator in New Mexico, the National ITS Architecture Program Manager at Headquarters in Washington, D.C., and ITS Engineers for FHWA in Los Angeles and Baltimore.  She received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Virginia.

This is the first in a Careers in Transportation Series sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Transportation Sustainability University Transportation Center.
